Russia! magazine, an English-language 132-page publication about Russia, is set to launch in the US, with the premier issue due to the bookstores on December 1, 2006

Russia! magazine, a glossy 132-page supplement to a country, is introduced by Press Release Group. Press conference announcing the first issue took place on October 27 in New York.

“There is no question of why do we need such a magazine, - said Ilya Merenzon, the publisher of Russia!, - but the question ‘Why there was no such a magazine before?’ The interest towards Russia is enormous and we are determined to institutionalize this interest by becoming the magazine people look for on the newsstands when they want to learn more about the country.”

Russia! magazine is a 132-page glossy publication. It is the first life-style and general interest publication about Russia since the Cold War. The magazine is created by a remarkable team, which includes famous art critic Marat Guelman, designer Artemy Lebedev, businessman Andrew Paulson, among others. Among magazine's contributors there are Boris Akunin, Alexander Genis, Michael Idov, Naum Kazhdan and others.
